Siam Motors head office in Bangkok was the venue on Tuesday, November 17 for a press conference to announce the soon to be opened Mövenpick Siam Hotel Pattaya.
In attendance were distinguished guests, executives of Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts, members of the press, business partners and Siam Motor Co., Ltd, president and Siam at Chonburi Co., Ltd chairman, Dr. Phornthep Phornprapha.

He continued that there is no higher standard in the hospitality industry than that espoused by the nation of Switzerland, standards of which Mövenpick is also justly famous …”and we are sure that our Thai and international guests will appreciate it,” he said.
The Mövenpick Siam Hotel Pattaya will have its soft opening on December 15.
Also at the press conference to make the announcement was Andrew Langdon, the Senior Vice President Asia for Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts who said, “The opening of Mövenpick Siam Pattaya is going to earmark Na Jomtien as the new premiere hotel location in the area, targeting guests from Thailand and Asia as well as the traditional markets. We feel very proud to be part of this and it’s an indication of our strong work in the Asian market.”
Hayden Edgtton has been assigned as the General Manager for the new hotel and commented: “It’s very exciting to have the hotel opening in Pattaya in December and the Mövenpick brand is extremely proud and very honoured to be able to join forces with Siam Motors and to open this fantastic property, which is beachfront and will cater very much to the leisure and corporate markets.”
