Thailand has qualified for the 2016 UL International Crown team golf tournament which takes place from July 21-24 at the Merit Club outside of Chicago.

As of April 3, Team Thailand sits in fifth place in the rankings and consists of Pornanong Phatlum, Ariya Jutanugarn, Moriya Jutanugarn and Thidapa Suwannapura.  Players and seedings will be finalized following the conclusion of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in June.

The UL International Crown is the first-of-its-kind biennial, team match play competition featuring the best female golfers from the top eight countries across the globe, based on the combined Rolex World Ranking of the top four players from each country.

Spain was crowned the event’s first champion in 2014 at Caves Valley in Maryland where the Thai team finished in fifth place.
