Monday, March 12,
Pattavia – Stableford

The numbers are reducing now and only two divisions out today with the cut at 14-16 and 17+.  This course is still in good condition with some very slick greens.

Allan Robertson recorded the best score of the day, winning division 2 with 38 points.  John Walsh was second, beating Leo Adam 14/13 on a back-six count-back after they both shot 34 points overall, John Kelly was fourth on 33 and Shane Tutton fifth on 32.

Paul Young, with 37 points, won division 1 while Steve Godfrey beat Per Forsberg 13/12 on count-back after they both returned 35 points each.  Ian Usher was fourth on 33 and Dennis Scougall came fifth after beating Jerry McCarthy 18/15 after they both had 31 on the card.

Near pins went to (Div 1) Steve Godfrey (2) and Paul Young (2), and (Div 2) Allan Robartson and John Walsh.

In the ‘2’s, Dennis Scougall birdied the 13th hole and in division 2 Allan Robartson the 17th and John Walsh the 13th.

Wednesday, March 14,
Pattana – Stableford

It was great to meet Jirapol again, originally the MD at Eastern Star 12 years ago he then moved to Pattana and then to Black Mountain and is now back at Pattana again.  We played the B and C nines today and the course was in great condition.

Dennis Scougall topped the podium in division 1 with an even par 36 points, Steve Godfrey was second one point behind and Raivo Velsberg placed third on 33.  Gareth Piccinin came in fourth with 32 points and fifth place went to Per Forsberg who beat Bob Comartin on count-back, both with 29 points overall.

Shane Tutton was the winner in division 2, Alan Bissell beat Allan Robartson on a 17/12 on count-back for second after they both scored 32 points and Jim Connelly finished fourth, beating Bert Jumelet on another count-back, this one on 31 points.

Near pins were claimed by (Div 1) Bob Comartin, Steve Godfrey, Gareth Piccinin and Dennis Scougall, and (Div 2) Theo Bahrt, Alan Bissell and Shane Tutton.

Theo Bahrt birdied C2 to record the only ‘2’ of the day.

Friday, March 16,
Eastern Star – Stableford

Only seven groups out and 39 points was the highest score of the day, with Per Forsberg playing off 16 winning division 1 with that score.  Eight points behind in second place was Marc Brunner, beating Paul Young on a 18/16 back-nine count-back.  Jerry McCarthy was fourth on 30 points and Steve Godfrey was fifth with 29.

Alan Bissell won division 2 with 34 points, Frank Kelly took second one point behind and in third place on a 19/15 back-nine count-back was Shane Tutton, edging Max Wilson into fourth after both posted 32 pointers.  Tony Thorne was fifth with 31 points.

Near pins went to (Div 1) Mikael Andersson, Marc Brunner and Per Forsberg, and (Div 2) Leo Adam, Jim Connelly, Tony Thorne and Shane Tutton.

Alan Bissell, Marc Brunner and Per Forsberg posted the only ‘2’s of the day.
