The 5th leg of the Thai LPGA Thailand Championship took place at Green Valley golf course near Rayong from June 6-8. The competition, which took place over 54 holes, saw the winner Arpichaya Yubol take the title after recording a remarkable last round of 10 under par.

The 16-year old, who is commonly known as “Piano”, hails from Saraburi and finished the final day four shots clear of second placed Wanchana Poruangrong, a 23-year old from Surin who played the most consistent golf of the week and was never out of the top three places.

The third place was a tie between amateur players, 17-year old Tunrada Piddon from Bangkok and 16-year old Kan Bunnabodee from Bangpra Golf Club, Sri Racha.

The tournament was another example of the incredible array of teenage talent that Thai golf possesses at the moment and leaves Arpichaya currently top of the Thai LPGA order of merit table for 2018.
