PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, Jan. 9, Pattaya C.C. – Stableford
On Tuesday we went to Pattaya Country Club and the course was in reasonable condition, with the front nine much better than the back nine.
It was a big battle between Jonathan Pratt, Paddy Devereux and Willem Lasonder and the result saw Jonathan taking the top step of the podium with 39 stableford points, aided by two very nice chip-in birdies. In second was Paddy Devereux with 38 points, beating Willem Lasonder on the count-back.
Two near pin awards went to Dave Smith and Tim Holland.
Thursday, Jan. 11, Treasure Hill – Stableford
Treasure Hill was our venue for Thursday and this course is always a challenge for our group due to the length, the trees and the not easy greens.
Two of us had no problems and played solid rounds and the man of the day with 41 points was Paddy Devereux. In second came Paul Davies with 39 points and some distance back was Bob Edwards in third with 33.
The near pins went to Dave Smith, Allan Cassin and Paddy Devereux.
