PSC Golf from Lewinski’s Golf Bar

Tuesday, Nov. 13, Bangpra – Stableford

Nice to back at Bangpra, one of the first courses I ever played in Thailand and it remains one of my favorites. It was millionaire’s golf today with no other players in sight as we stood on the first tee.

The course was in excellent condition and represents great value if you’re prepared to get up early. We will be back here every Tuesday for an 8.20 start; transport will leave Lewinskis at 7.20.

Wednesday, Nov. 14, Chee Chan G.C. – Stableford

Another good turnout on this well presented Chee Chan course, which no golfer should miss the opportunity to play at the current discounted rate. The field was divided into to two divisions, this time the split being white for the rank and file, or blue tees for the big hitters.

Steve Morey, who drove the ball extremely well, produced an excellent short game to comfortably win the blue division with 38 points. Second spot went to our big-hitting Finnish friend, Petteri with 32.

The white division was taken somewhat surprisingly by Matthew Cronin with 36 points off his 18 handicap. Welcome to Nigel Flanagan, who was second with 35 points off 12; with Matt Doyle third on 32 and Kevin McEntee fourth with 31 off handicap 9.
