The final on Sept. 28 saw Viriya Khamdeeton from the Mecure Hotel take on Surachet Thongjit from the Avani over the best of 7 frames of pool.  The two battled ferociously without either wanting to concede any advantage but eventually Viriya held his nerve best and his potting skills saw him emerge as a 5-2 winner.

The new champion took home 8,000 baht in prize money while second placed Surachet received 5,000 baht.

Taking third place in the competition was Nikom Wongsiri of the Pinnacle Jomtien who defeated Pattaya Hiso Hotel’s Ampol Charoenkrop in a play-off.

The prize ceremony was chaired by Somkiet Darunaitorn, advisor to the F&B Association Pattaya, who also gave out the prizes.
