For the first time ever, this week we decided to have a rainbow competition as well as all of our normal skins, etc. at Emerald Golf Club.
We welcomed back Andy C, Allan B, and Tony D, which pushed the numbers up to 15 and with another big competition taking place at Emerald on Friday it made for one of the slowest rounds in a long time. High season must be here!

As seen from the headline, JJ took the stableford competition with 38 points, narrowly beating Andy C on 37. Nearest the pin prize went to Tom S and skin results are as follows: Andy Oz (7), Allan B (3), Dan M (3), Bernie (2), with Tom S, Terry C, Danny L and Andy C all taking (1) each.
Finally congratulations go to Bernie after he announced he is getting married to longtime girlfriend “O”. Good luck and best wishes from everyone at the Backyard Golf Society.
