Travel well John and come see us again.

Wednesday, March 23, Khao Kheow A & C – Stableford

1st Brett Chan 35pts

2nd Nigel Flanagan 34pts

3rd Vic Hestor 34pts

The cooler weather and steady drizzle chased a few of those signed up to cry off.  None the less, 16 brave souls continued out to Khao Kheow for a soggy but enjoyable game.

Brett Chan proved to be the best mudder and finished at the top with 35 points.  Nigel ‘Colts, Colts, Colts’ Flanagan fired a 21 on the B9 to edge out Vic Hestor who came in with a respectable B9-19.  Thanks to all that joined us.

Friday, March 25, Phoenix Ocean & Lake – Medal/Stroke

2’s:  Eddy Beilby, Peter LeNoury, James Bracket, Peter Larrsen, Gabriel Enright

Thirty-six players gathered to contest the Monthly Medal winner’s shirt.  Eddy Beilby was the man of the match today, mustering a fine net 72 and top spot in B Flight.  Second place went to our ‘Aussie Queen’ Marlene Prudden who nipped Vic Hestor on count-back.

A Flight honors went to the count-back winner James Brackett who had a net 73.  Alan Thomas was second on net 73 and Micheal Whelan third on net 74.

The presentation back at The Golf Club Sports Bar & Grill proved a loud and boisterous affair.  Many shots were replayed and there were those that were left wondering what had happened out there.  Most it seemed had struggled on the greens.  Many a libation was sunk, unlike the putts that didn’t.  Thanks to all that attended and we look forward to seeing you again at The Club.
