Sunday, May 28, Green Valley – Stableford

1st Paul Durkan (8) 34pts

2nd Don Lehmer (22) 32pts

It was raining as the lads; left Lewiinski’s this Sunday to travel to our regular Rayong Green Valley game of stableford.  On arrival at the course, the rain had ceased and the layout was very wet so ‘lift and place’ was the order of the day.  This did not mean a thing to Paul Durkan as he, playing his last game of this trip, made it three wins on the trot and so gained his taxi fair to the airport.  Paul’s 34 points was two clear of Don ‘the Ladies man’ Lehmer.

Back at Lewiinski’s and after the presentation, everyone whished Paul a safe journey and (jokingly) a not so quick return.

Wednesday, May 31,
Green Valley – Stableford

1st Garry Simm (23) 39pts

2nd Marcus Earp (21) 36pts

Back to Green Valley today for the small low season crowd the course was still wet with a light shower as we teed off but it did not last very long and turned out fine.

Leading the lads onto the barn was Garry Simm with a very creditable 39 points. Marcus Earp took the silver podium spot with a solid even par round.
