Clegg domination continues

Monday, Nov. 27, Pattaya C.C. – Stableford

We teed off an hour early under today sunny conditions and with a testing wind.  The course was in good condition with slowish greens.

We had two flights with the cut at handicap 20 and Arne Pedersen won the A flight with 37 points, two up on Ulf Larsson in second while Rob Brown and Peter Bygballe completed the podium in third and fourth with 33 and 32 points respectively.

Gordon Clegg continued dominating the B flight with 39 points for the win, Steen Habersaat took second with 36 and Lotte Boskov (31pts) and Torben Sorensen (29pts) filled the minor places.

Near pins went to Rob Brown and Gordon Clegg while the long putts were claimed by Gorden Clegg and Arne Pedersen.

Thursday, Nov. 30, Bangpakong – Stableford

The Riverside course was in good condition but they are adding bunkers in some strange places.

Two flights again today with the cut at handicap 19 and Oddur Olafsson won the A flight on a count-back from Henning Olsen, both with 37 points.  Arne Pedersen was third with 36 and Brian Gabe fourth on count-back from Andre Vandyk and Kenneth Madsen, all on 34 points.

Tony Leece took the B flight with a fine 40-point performance while Steen Habersaat was second on a count-back from Lotte Boskov in third, both with 38s on the card.  Colm O’Donavan completed the podium in fourth with 37.

Near pins were claimed by Oddur Olafsson, Kurt Sandgaard, Ulf Larsson and Brian Gabe while the long putts came from Lotte Boskov and Rob Brown.
