Pattaya, 3 November 2021 – Chee Chan Golf Resort has been certified the SHA Plus (Amazing Thailand Safety & Health Administration) as a safety tourism standard by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Ministry of Tourism and Sports, ensuring the property’s next level of public health services.
Chee Chan Golf Resort has consistently implemented health safety measures, focusing on service standards in line with the “New Normal,” aiming to instill confidence in golfers and visitors, including all customers who come to use the service. Various preventive procedures include providing a temperature screening check when visitors arrive at the designated area before entering the clubhouse and carrying out various preventive measures strictly during activities in the area such as visitor information recording, wearing a mask or face shield, adjusting the tee time gap between groups to be 20 minutes, and practicing social distancing between golfers and caddies with a golf cart partition.
All staff and caddies at Chee Chan Golf have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, which resulted in the SHA Plus Certificate. This confirms that Chee Chan Golf Resort has attained yet another milestone in raising the highest levels of public health safety on the premises.
The Amazing Thailand Safety & Health Administration (SHA) project results from cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the tourism authority of Thailand (TAT), the Ministry of Public Health, and government and private sectors involved in the tourism industry. The project aims to encourage businesses in the tourism industry to prepare their workplaces to comply with the New Normal lifestyle to improve the tourism industry standards and sanitation measures, which can build trust and confidence in customers and service recipients of such products and services.
