Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh chaired a March 17 planning meeting with the Thailand Jet Ski Boating Association, police, Bangkok Hospital Pattaya and the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation, discussing venues, electrical-system management, traffic, equipment, and safety.



The CCSA will allow athletes from other countries to participate, but all must endure 14 days of quarantine in advance. Thai jet-skiers, despite not leaving the country, also must quarantine for two weeks, the health officials dictated.

Moreover, the live audience, which totaled 12,000 people in 2019, will be halved, with all spectators required to wear face masks at the outdoor event.
