Pattaya FC Manager Kangwan Charoenkarn handed out completion certificates to the budding footballers Aug. 23 at the Mueang Pattaya Sport Complex,

Both Thai and foreign volunteers coached the kids, ages 10-15, on rules, gameplay and the need for good sportsmanship.

There also was a friendly co-ed football match between the Bangpra Junior team and Pattaya Academy to let all the youngsters gain more experience in competition.

The match was deadlocked 0-0 at half-time and despite the Pattaya Academy’s coach swapping out forward players for reinforcements at the break, the strikers still misfired and the game ended goalless after 90 minutes.  The winners had to be determined by a penalty shootout, with Bangpra edging it 5-3.
