3 Pattaya windsurfers honored for tourney wins

The Windsurfing Association of Thailand congratulated three of its athletes for putting in top performances in recent competitions.

Group President Itthiphol Kunplome commended the Pattaya-based windsurfers Dec. 28 at the Treehouse Cafe.

Siriporn Kaewduang-ngam again took center stage, adding yet another first-place trophy to her large collection at the Hong Kong Open Windsurfing Championships held Oct. 31-Nov. 6.

Bunyalit Sungk-gnuen finished second in the under-17 Techno 293 competition.

Also honored was Kittisak Samit, who placed first in the Techno 293 Under-19 category at the Ocean Windsurf Championships in Taiwan.

The three received honors and cash and socialized with other members and sponsors at the event, which doubled as the association’s holiday party.
