‘Songs for Life’ rocks Pattaya for flood victims

Renowned and local musicians jammed for two days outside Mike Shopping Mall to raise funds for victims of the flood disaster in the South.

The Feb. 18-19 “Songs for Life” music festival kicked off with the group Kaweeprachachon, fronted by guitarist Wallop “Kai Malaengsap” Polsen from the Rajadamnern band, and other local Pattaya rockers who came together for the event.

The day also saw performances from Nu Burapa, Boss Samaen, the Killer Band, the Mai Nuam Band and D. Diow from Bangkok.

Bands taking the stage the second day included Hammer, Rajadamnern, Malaengsap and Sabieng, Thong Dindaeng and Samruam Bangbuathong, Mayakol, Ae Nawapap and Namtan Nampetch.

Donation boxes were placed around the venue for music lovers to donate to flooding victims.
