More than 200 area doctors and nurses brushed up on emergency medical techniques and technology a “trauma day” conference sponsored by Bangkok Hospital Pattaya.

The June 29 seminar at the Pattaya medical center was headlined by Mayuree Suthiratanaporn, Patient Care Group Manager of Group 4 (which includes emergency room treatment), and aimed to help emergency room personnel improve their treatment plans and infrastructure.

Topics included mass casualty incidents, pre-hospital care, pediatric trauma, water-related accidents and injuries to the head, spine and chest. Equipment vendors also showcased new offerings in various booths.
