Rare sets of stamps featuring the image and works of the late His Majesty the King are popular at the Banglamung Post Office.
The post office brought out about 100 old sets of stamps from its archives following the Oct. 13 passing of His Majesty, knowing people were grieving and wanted ways to remember the late monarch.
Postmaster King Kulpetch said he found stamps commemorating the King’s 2015 birthday, which sold for 200 baht for a set of 40; stamps celebrating royal rice sold at 30 baht for sets of 10, and stamps of the royal rice paddy sold for 90 baht for a set of 10.
