About 200 people cleaned up Nang Ram and Nang Rong beaches in Sattahip in honor of HM the Queen’s birthday.

Rear Adm. Arak Kaeweim, director of the navy’s Juksamet Commercial Port, led the Aug. 10 activity joined by government and military officers, employees of factories in the area, and students from Juksamet School.

Arak said the aim of the event was to show love, unity and loyalty toward the monarchy. In addition, it was a good opportunity to do a good deed and raise awareness about the need to preserve the environment.
