Khet Udomsak joined Sattahip Police to train students in safe driving and respect for traffic laws.
Mayor Pairoj Malakul Na Ayutthaya opened the June 21 driver’s education course, which had two traffic officers provide knowledge to Sattahip School teachers and students.
Pairoj said traffic accidents and law-breaking is a growing problem, but neither the sub-district nor local police have enough manpower to enforce all the laws everywhere.
He said the hope is that training new drivers properly will improve traffic statistics in the long run.
