Jesters Care for Kids Charity Drive 2012, Sponsored by Glencore International and Canadian Jackalope Open

On Thursday, October 25, Woody [Lewis Underwood], chairman of Jesters Care for Kids, made a visit to Bangkok Hospital Pattaya to meet with Neil Maniquiz, head of International Marketing and his deputy, Janya Rattanaliam. The purpose of the visit was to present the hospital with a plaque to recognize their valued contribution to Jesters Children’s Fairs over the past 11 years.

The annual Jesters’ Fairs have been held for 14 years now without any serious incidents, but this does not mean that safety precautions should be ignored. Bangkok Hospital Pattaya recognizes this and since 2002, they have had an ambulance with trained staff on site to quickly respond should they be required.

This facility has provided the organizers with great comfort knowing that professional assistance was always close at hand should it be needed. In addition, Bangkok Hospital Pattaya has had a booth at the Fair for all of these years to give free blood pressure tests and information to the visitors about the many medical services available at their hospital.

In thanking the hospital and staff, Woody remarked that although he valued their attendance and hoped it would continue into the future, he also hoped that their emergency services would never be needed.
