GIS Principal Mrs Hawtree welcomed everyone and then outgoing Head Boy Gear and Head Girl Berenice introduced this year’s Prefects.

They are Shilpi, who will represent Humanities, Narisa (Languages), Shomit (Science), Tara (Creativity), Prem (Activity) and Jignil (Service). After reading out a pledge to help the school, the Prefects signed a contract and were presented with a special Leadership wristband from their mentors and a Prefect badge from their parents.

Over the year the six Prefects will represent the school and help organise many events. At the assembly, the new Head Boy and Head Girl were also revealed – they are Jignil and Shilpi. GIS is based in Ban Chang near Pattaya.
