Garden International School (GIS) has helped a Pattaya-based charity provide glasses to underprivileged children.

Students held a series of fundraising events, such as mufti days, to help the Hand to Hand Foundation and other locally-based charities.

As a result, 27,000 baht was collected for Hand to Hand. On September 12, Ms Margie from Hand to Hand came to GIS to accept the donation. This will be used to provide glasses to more than a dozen children in the Pattaya area who currently suffer from eyesight problems.

Ms Margie also met with GIS students who will help Hand to Hand this year. She gave the students the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the best ways that they could help.

Hand To Hand Foundation is one of several charity projects GIS supports. GIS is based in Ban Chang near Pattaya.
