The EY3 (Reception) classes at ISC had an exciting morning recently, training with the Muay Thai champion Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee. Their topic, “Balloons” has taken them around the world and now that they have landed back in Thailand, it was time to experience something very Thai.

They arrived at the camp bursting with excitement. The staff was equally excited to be working with such a great group of children. Before they could put on gloves and get in to the ring, the trainer took them through some warm up activities, stretches, a tag game and an obstacle course. Then it was time to lace up gloves.

The trainer took the students through some warm up activities.

They learned how to punch, kick and use their elbows and knees with the trainers. Training with Sudsakorn was the highlight of the trip for the children. Perhaps there are some future Muay Thai champions in EY3.

Students learn how to punch…

… and kick.

Perhaps there are some future Muay Thai champions in EY3.
