On November 7, Garden International School (GIS) held its annual Diwali Celebration Evening and, like every year, it was a huge success.

Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights and is celebrated every year as a sign of hope and positivity.

It was an eventful evening filled with a variety of delicious Indian food prepared by parents and lots of amazing dance performances by students from Year 1 up to IB2. Dances ranged in style from classical Indian to hip-hop and, as always, there had to be a staff performance as that is everyone’s favourite!

The event was kindly sponsored by Indorama and Aditya Birla.
