A national car club handed out 14,000 baht in scholarships while making a stop in Pattaya for Mother’s Day.

Principal Apinporn Sinmaneethanon welcomed the Mitsubishi Triton Friends Club to Banglamung School Aug. 7, which was on a multi-province tour to do good deeds in honor of HM Queen Sirikit’s 86th birthday Aug. 12.

Club President Anuwat Ampaikul led a 40-truck parade of members from Pathum Thani, Ayutthaya, Sing Buri, Prachin Buri, Rayong and Chonburi to the school, where they served the kids a lunch of chicken green curry and noodles, stir-fried chicken with ginger, papaya salad, pork salad, fruit and desert.

After lunch the club assembled beds in the nurse’s office, which they also cleaned. Members then handed out the fourteen 1,000-baht scholarships.

The car club was traveling through numerous provinces donating necessaries, learning and teaching media, nursing beds and medicine.
