Aksorn schools celebrate kindergarten graduation

Although they’ve practically just begun their school lives, kindergarten students earned their first diplomas at the Aksorn Group of schools.

The March 14 ceremony at Aksorn Thepprasit School saw 254 youngsters graduate. More than 500 Prathom 6 and Mathayom 3 students also earned their diplomas from Aksorn Group Manager Paveena Modrakhee.

As the 6- and 7-year-olds squirmed in their seats, Thepprasit School Professor Duangdao Nuankhum addressed the staff, teachers and students. The graduation procession started an hour later with an overflow crowd watching the proceedings on a 200-inch projector in the conference room.

After Santi Charoensiri, 7, from Aksorn Naklua School accepted the last certificate, Aksorn Thepprasit students put on a classical Thai dance show, which was followed the singing of the national anthem.

In all, 95 kindergarten level 3 students from Aksorn Naklua School, 94 from Aksorn Pattaya School and 65 from Aksorn Thepprasit School graduated. Diplomas were awarded to 286 students from Prathom 6 and. 262 students from Mathayom 3.

The Aksorn Group consists of five schools, including Aksorn Business School in Rayong and Aksorn Technology College Pattaya, and was founded 43 years ago by Nikhom Modrakhee.
