PATTAYA, Thailand – Municipal officers in Jomtien apprehended a contractor for unauthorized sidewalk excavation intended for construction purposes. The incident involved digging into a public footpath without securing the required permits.
Upon inspection, officials found that the work was being carried out in violation of local regulations. The contractor was promptly detained and taken to the Jomtien Municipal Enforcement Center for legal processing and a fine under administrative procedures.
