
PATTAYA, Thailand –On 2 March 2026, Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) reported that eight airlines — including EL AL Israel Airlines, Air Arabia, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Gulf Air, Kuwait Airways and World2fly — have cancelled a total of 47 flights due to the situation in the Middle East:
- 24 departing flights
- 23 arriving flights
Between 28 February and 2 March 2026, total cancellations reached 108 flights:
- 58 departing flights
- 50 arriving flights

Suvarnabhumi Airport continues to closely monitor the situation and coordinate with airlines to ensure smooth passenger handling. Currently, there are no stranded departing passengers, as airlines have communicated directly with affected travelers.
Airport staff are on standby to assist, and complimentary water stations are available for passengers waiting to contact their airlines.
