PATTAYA, Thailand – 3 December 2025 – Thunderous cheers filled the B.Grimm Country Club (Thai Polo & Equestrian Club Pattaya) as Thailand delivered a spectacular home triumph, winning Eventing Team Gold at the FEI Asian Championships Pattaya 2025. With strong support from B.Grimm and official partner MaxWin, the host nation turned the competition into a celebration of world-class horsemanship and national pride.
Thailand Dominates the Team Competition
Team Thailand clinched the gold medal with a combined score of 117.6 penalties, edging out a determined Indian team that secured silver on 121.8 penalties. Hong Kong, China followed closely to earn bronze with 122.9, making the final standings one of the tightest in recent Asian Championships history.
Thailand’s Korntawat Samran thrilled the home crowd aboard B.Grimm Billy Elmy, securing both Team Gold and Individual Bronze—despite one costly rail in the final jumping round. “My horse was amazing today… I am very thankful to the owners, the groom, and everyone behind us,” Samran said.
Teammate Weerapat Pitakanonda added crucial stability with a confident ride on Billy Grimm Carnival March, finishing on 37.3 penalties and praising Thailand’s powerful team spirit and home-ground energy.
India’s Ashish Limaye Captures Individual Gold
The spotlight then shifted to India as Ashish Limaye delivered a flawless, ice-cool performance aboard Willy Be Dun, finishing on 29.4 penalties to seize the Individual Gold Medal. “I was only thinking about going clear, not winning a medal,” Limaye said. “After being clear, I hoped for gold. It feels like redemption.”
Hong Kong, China’s Patrick Lam rode a brilliant fault-free round with Jockey Club Highdown March, rising from fourth place to secure Individual Silver on 30.1 penalties.
