PATTAYA, Thailand – Authorities have announced a temporary road closure in the Jomtien beachfront area to allow maintenance work on electrical poles.
The closure affects the stretch from the Jomtien marine rescue point to Public Restroom No. 2 along Jomtien Beach, Dong Tan area. The work is being carried out on March 5, with crews repairing lighting poles within the designated safe beach zone.
Officials expect the work to be completed by 4:00 PM on the same day, after which normal access to the area will resume.
Residents and visitors are advised to avoid the affected route temporarily and use alternative paths while repairs are underway.
Authorities apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the public for their cooperation during the maintenance operation.
