Pattaya police are looking for two women who allegedly drugged and robbed a Sattahip businesswoman.

Pranee Kijsakul, 54, reported to a police booth at the intersection of Thepprasit and Sukhumvit roads Dec. 9 saying she had been tranquilized and robbed by two women who approached her on a baht bus.

Pranee said she was heading to Sattahip Market from her place in Samae San in a baht bus before two other women got on. One appeared to be quite slim, and about 20-25 years old. The other lady was average, approximately 30-35.

In Pattaya, the two women began offering rare Buddha amulets to her. Pranee declined. But the two women got aggressive and tried to force the amulets into her bag. That’s when they first touched her.

Shortly after, she began feeling dizzy and she was piled into a tuk-tuk where the women kept touching her face. As they did, the drug effects deepened, leaving her in a waking trance.

They stopped at a Bangkok Bank on Thepprasit Road where the two women guided her to the ATM machine to draw out 70,000 baht. The pair also took her gold ring. Pranee then struggled to the police box and reported the crime.

Police said CCTV footage will be investigated to identify the two women before the hunt begins.
