A Russian couple was hurt trying to chase down a thief who snatched their gold chain.
Andrei Ananev, 40, and his wife sustained minor injuries when they crashed their motorbike into a parked car Oct. 2 while pursuing two people on a bike who ripped a 60,000-baht gold chain from around his neck while driving.
Ananev was left with only a stub of gold, plus a bunch of cuts and bruises. The thieves escaped in the rain with police left with no option but to check CCTV cameras.
