RMUT completes Pattaya Mail internship

The Pattaya Mail staff bid farewell and good luck to a university intern who spent four months learning all facets of the business.

Assistant Managing Director Suwanthep Malhotra hosted the Sept. 30 party for Watjana Thaworn, an English communication major at Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-OK’s Bangphra campus. Company executives presented her with flowers and scholarship money to continue her studies.

Watjana’s four-month internship saw her work in the Pattaya Mail Publishing Co.’s public relations, editorial, photography, advertising and finance departments. She also shot photographs, wrote a story, sold advertising and assisted editing photos.

“The four months of professional training has given me important experience to adapt to financial, political and social environments, the ability to work with personnel from all departments and to participate in social reform of the nation,” Watjana said. “I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the employees from all departments for teaching and providing knowledge, I am touched and extremely glad to have interned here.”
