The village is owned by Athirot Thanasinpiyarom, the president of the Chonburi Police Administrative Audit Committee. At the ceremony he presented two police vehicles to Khatcha for use by the Nongprue Police Station to patrol his development.

Khatcha said the Pornthip Village box will provide security and service to local residents 24 hours a day and was made possible with private donations so no public funding was needed.
