Pattaya-area police were out in force Halloween night to scare off any potential criminals.
Najomtien police chief Pol. Col. Thanapong Photi dispatched officers from the Banglamung, Pattaya and Najomtien stations, along with the Tourist Police Division before sunset on Oct. 31.
The strong, visible presence was meant as a deterrent for spirits with evil intent.
