PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya authorities are continuing efforts to reorganize parking along Pattaya Beach, focusing on keeping public spaces available for residents and tourists. City enforcement officers, working with police and relevant agencies, are inspecting the beachfront and enforcing parking regulations, including the ban on parking along white-and-red curb markings. Authorities are also prohibiting businesses or individuals from renting out, reserving or taking over public parking spaces for private gain.
Pattaya City said the ongoing inspections aim to ensure public parking is used fairly while improving order and safety along the beachfront. Drivers who park in prohibited areas face fines under the law, while those found using public spaces for business without permission may face further legal action.
The city said the measures will continue, with authorities vowing to maintain enforcement until visitors and residents see a significant improvement in order and access to public beachfront parking.
