Responding to another wave of tourism-damaging negative publicity overseas, Pattaya’s deputy mayor called in police and bureaucrats to reinforce the need to prevent and deal with problems quickly and efficiently.

The deputy mayor also stressed the need to make tourist services as efficient and convenient as possible.
He said creating trust and confidence in security and safety is essential to keep tourists coming to Thailand.
