PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya is getting ready to welcome thousands of visitors for the 2025 Pattaya International Fireworks Festival, scheduled for November 28–29, with a comprehensive traffic and parking plan to ensure a smooth experience.
Mayor Poramet Ngampichet announced that the city has made extensive preparations this year to accommodate large crowds while highlighting the beauty of the fireworks displays and cultural performances. “This year’s festival is particularly significant,” he said, emphasizing that traffic management and visitor convenience are top priorities.
Ahead of the festival, city authorities will hold coordination meetings with all relevant agencies to finalize road closures, designate special lanes for essential vehicles, and implement clear traffic guidance throughout the event. During the festival, Beach Road from North Pattaya to South Pattaya will be closed to regular traffic, with dedicated service lanes maintained for necessary access.
To accommodate attendees, Pattaya has set up 16 parking zones across the city. Key locations include the Pattaya City Hall, Tesco Lotus North Pattaya, Wat Nong Yai, and Big C Central Pattaya. Free shuttle bus services will operate from these parking zones to the festival area along the beach. Additional support has been provided by Terminal 21 Pattaya, Central Pattaya, and other private establishments offering extra parking spaces.
The festival program will begin each day at 5:45 PM with a tribute ceremony honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, followed by stage performances, traditional Khon dance, and special fireworks shows from five participating countries.
Mayor Poramet stressed that the city has prepared the event with the highest standards for lighting, sound, safety, and visitor services. He urged residents and tourists to plan their travel in advance, especially those wishing to watch the evening displays, as high traffic is expected throughout the two-day festival.
With these measures, Pattaya aims to provide a safe, convenient, and memorable experience for everyone attending the international fireworks celebrations.
