PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya municipal enforcement officers seized two metal tables and several boxes of cigarettes from vendors selling goods on public pavement along Pattaya Second Road on October 11. The vendors were taken to the Pattaya Municipal Enforcement Centre for fines after allegedly placing merchandise on public walkways without regard for regulations or the rights of pedestrians.
The operation was part of efforts to prevent the unauthorized use of public footpaths for selling goods and keep pedestrian routes clear. Residents who witness similar violations can report them through Pattaya’s 1337 hotline.
