
PATTAYA, Thailand – The second day of the Pattaya Marathon 2026 brought another lively morning to Pattaya, with runners taking on the 21.1-kilometre Half Marathon and 42.195-kilometre Full Marathon from the start and finish area at Terminal 21 Pattaya, September 27.
Pattaya Deputy Mayor Krisana Boonsawat joined Pattaya City Council President Praiwan Aromchuen, council members, Pattaya City officials led by Permanent Secretary Kiattisak Sriwongchai, the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Pattaya office, Terminal 21 Pattaya representatives and other agencies for the race start.
The Deputy Mayor and Pattaya City Council members also joined thousands of Thai and international runners in the 21.1-kilometre Half Marathon, as participants pushed themselves to achieve their personal goals while spectators and tourists cheered along the route. Following the races, Pattaya City officials presented awards to the winners in each category and congratulated all runners who completed their respective distances.

Awards were also presented in the designated age-group categories to recognize runners who met the competition criteria. Over the two-day event, Pattaya welcomed runners, supporters, residents and tourists from Thailand and abroad. The influx contributed to activity at hotels, restaurants, shops and other local businesses, highlighting the connection between sporting events, tourism and the local economy.
The marathon also reinforced Pattaya’s positioning as a Sport City, using major sporting events to attract athletes and visitors, add color to the city and promote Pattaya as an international tourism destination.
