PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya City officials carried out an operation to address concerns involving homeless people and people living on the streets in several public areas on November 3, following complaints received by the city. Teams visited Pattaya Beach, Pattaya Third Road beneath the Bali Hai overpass, Thappraya Road and Jomtien Second Road, as well as other locations identified through public complaints.
Homeless people are also frequently seen around convenience stores, including 7-Eleven outlets, in various parts of Pattaya, prompting concerns among residents, businesses and visitors. The operation aimed to bring order to public spaces, address reported concerns and improve safety and the overall tourism environment for residents and visitors.
