The Navy’s Air and Coastal Defense Command prepped for natural disasters during an inspection in Sattahip.

Rear Adm. Worah Taenkham, the ACDC commander, led a team of officers to Fighter Aviation Division 2 to prepare troops for natural disasters.

Capt. Sorawut Chuwana, division chief, welcomed the group and led his commanders on an inspection before receiving new orders.

The division also demonstrated its armaments, including 40/70 mm. cannons, the QW-18 and other heavy arms.

Worah said the naval air wing is responsible for supplying relief to disaster victims as well as being a frontline unit in national defense.
