PATTAYA, Thailand – Panic broke out along Sukhumvit Road late Monday night after a woman in a state of undress ran across traffic, frightening drivers near the Motorway Pattaya North intersection.
Rescue workers from Sawang Boriboon responded to a tip from a concerned citizen around 11:00 p.m. on Sept. 1, arriving alongside police from Pattaya City Station. The woman, estimated to be 35–40 years old and wearing only pants, appeared confused and agitated, running along the roadside and speaking incoherently.
Rescue teams spent considerable time calming and restraining her before safely transporting her to Bhattamakum Hospital for both physical and psychological evaluation. Authorities said an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident and ensure public safety in the area.
