Ministry hosts family-bonding seminar in Pattaya

The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security hosted a seminar on protecting children and youths from violence.

Thirty-eight families, totaling 111 people, attended the Dec. 25-27 workshop at the Adriatic Palace Pattaya aimed at preventing drug use and building closer family bonds through joint activities.

A ministry lecturer spoke on the dangers of drugs and games that can be played to spur creativity. The afternoon saw activities involving family games hosted by another lecturer.

It also covered children who are addicted to computer games, bad behavior and youths who get pregnant in their teens.
