PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya authorities have issued a renewed public safety warning urging tourists and residents to refrain from setting off fireworks themselves during public events, stressing that all fireworks displays must be conducted only by licensed and authorized teams.

The reminder comes amid concerns over safety risks posed by unauthorized fireworks, including fire hazards, injuries, and disturbances in crowded areas. Officials emphasized that fireworks are strictly regulated and that violations can lead to confiscation and legal action.



Municipal officers and related agencies have been deployed to monitor event areas, conduct patrols, and enforce regulations to ensure public safety and maintain order. Authorities called on the public to cooperate by following instructions and reporting any unsafe activity.
