Another death at the Jomtien curve adds to a growing list of serious crashes, prompting renewed calls for every driver and rider to slow down and take extra care.

PATTAYA, Thailand – A fatal motorcycle crash on Pattaya Second Road in Jomtien has renewed concerns over road safety at a curve where serious accidents have repeatedly left people injured or dead. The crash occurred Wednesday morning when a motorcycle overturned at the curve. A male rider was initially reported injured but later died from his injuries. The latest death is another reminder for motorists, motorcycle riders and other road users to approach the curve with extreme care, particularly when road conditions are wet or visibility is reduced.

Traffic police advised drivers to slow down before reaching the bend, maintain control of their vehicles and avoid sudden braking, overtaking or changes of direction. Motorcyclists face an even greater risk of losing control when taking the curve at excessive speed. With a history of serious crashes in the area, traffic police said the latest incident should remind road users to treat the curve as a danger point rather than simply another section of road. They urged motorists and riders to slow down before the curve, stay alert and leave enough room to react, stressing that a few seconds of caution could prevent another serious injury or loss of life.
