Sattahip police arrested a former drug user turned alleged dealer.
Officers nabbed Vithaya Pinyoyong, 24, in a Dec. 22 sting operation outside the Wanchaithanormsin factory in Huey Pong, Rayong.
Police seized 10 methamphetamine tablets and the 1,600 baht used to purchase them.
Police said the arrest was made possible following the arrest of Narongrith Indy, 19, who police caught in a similar operation. However, after giving Narongrith cash, the officers found no drugs.
The teen said he would take the money to buy methamphetamines from Vithaya. So officers used him to set up an undercover purchase of 10 ya ba pills.
Police said Vithaya confessed to selling drugs to support his own drug habit.
