DASTA Regional Director Thiti Chantangphol opened the June 27 training course at the Serene Sands Health Resort on Soi Banglamung 12/13 with lecturers from Mahidol University International College.

Wandee Prokobtham, chairman of the Takhiantia Tourism Promotion Club, and 20 others working in the subdistrict’s tourism industry heard how both verbal and body language are essential to communicating effectively with visitors.

Lecturers Sompong Amnuayngantra and Kaewta Muangkaseam discussed impulse management, basic body language reading, how to assess tourists’ behavior, teamwork, and promptness and skill.
