The Chonburi Attractions Club plans to reduce the entrance fee of tourist attractions in the province for local and provincial governments to grab more of the junket market.

Club President Thitiphat Siranatsrikul, owner of Pattaya’s Tuxedo Illusion Hall, said at a July 9 news conference at the Swiss Sheep Farm in Khao Cheechan that a test run at her magic show proved successful when she reduced fees from 500 baht to 100 baht for provincial and local administrative organizations.

The club is working with members who organize group tours and is getting support from Chonburi’s Tourism and Sports Department to bring more PAO and LAO visits to the province, she said.

The move is not only to promote tourism, but unify local businesses behind the plan and carry out joint marketing.
